Christ Jesus was a carpenter, learned of his father Joseph's trade.
Went to make a place for us, in a better way.
One where thiefs, don't break in, a place or peace and rest.
Jesus carried the wooden cross, to build us a hope, a home,
Worked to continue to give us a hope, when things seem lost.
He sweated his tears, for our fears, and blood sweat , and tears,
take away the years, making all things new, in his loving tears.
Carried that wood to build us a life,
His blood steps lead the way to Golgotha that day.
He fell, but arose, with a fragrance of love, now he is called
that sweet Rose of Sharon.
There is a way to the fathers Throne,
Jesus made that way, leading that day.
