I don't think Calvinists can fathom
The plunging depths of God's grace
He desires all men to be saved-
To behold the radiance of His Face

Not all men will seek the cross
And many will walk off the path
But it doesn't mean God ordained it
In order to pour out His wrath

Have you heard it not said
That God desires none to perish?
In the Book of life, He wants every name read
Because each life He does cherish

Does this mean all will be saved?
No, for many mock and despise Him
But this was their choice
And not something chosen for them.

When you look at son or daughter
And how you love them with all your heart
Can you imagine damning them to hell
With never a choice on their part?

Paul wished himself accursed
If it meant saving the Jews
What Calvinist would say the same
When they think God alone does choose

This sounds insulting, I know
But these words I carefully chose
I only wish others to see
How deep God's love really goes.

Christ weeps for the lost
More than we ever see
Think of the terrible cost
That He paid for you and me

Preach to all who are bound
And seek those who are lost
In order that they may be found
In the resurrection of the Cross.

People can still be set free
Their fate is not set in stone
They can still find mercy
In Christ and Christ alone
