I'm yours!

scales are falling off my eyes
like a blind man who didn't see
your lifting veils up
revealing mysteries

Oh how you must laugh
how overburdened are we
when you've made it so simple
laughing with you at my own stupidity

I thought I was so smart
but all this time so foolish
so rigid and broken
Rejected the message you sent to us.

I just had to try it all
before I came to you
fancy clothes, polished look
what a joke ! Theres only you

Slaughtered people with my tongue
my thoughts even worse
little did I know
I was standing in my own curse..

Head back, I laugh out loud
right here with you even now
Certainly humbled, not proud.
Because In that calamity,
you gave me your crown.
traded my ashes, for your sons gown.

I new loyalty was a virtue you gave
didn't know where to put it
many times I gave it away
but the more I get to know you
that loyaltys risen from the grave
all of it returning to you everyday.

I know who I am now
because of You
But more than that
I can relate to what you went through
I mean , "You" became a man
and came here when you didn't have too.
You died our sinful death,
so we could know Your truth.

For someone so quite
had nothing to say
its like my pipes have opened up
ill tell everyone every place
make way our King is here
he's not dead or far away.
Hes alive and well
And He's here to stay!

I like this very much,
I could feel music
while reading.

my husband and I have found that when we feel a little out of sorts,
if we sing and make melody in our hearts, (together or by ourselves),
to The Lord, this receipe will always bring us into a cheerful state of mind,
and inevitably we find ourselves smiling and thankful.

Yes ma, am!! We are to encourage ourselves in the Lord. I pour out to Him in poetry, however it comes out. I love singing too! A walk with the Lord is better than a thousand days without Him ")
