I woke up and thought about all the things that God does. I thought about His love and mercy. I thought about the fact, that whenever I worry about something, He's already made a plan that is much better for me than I can imagine. I thought about His light, that will conquer even the darkest night. I thought about His hand, which always brings help even in the situations that seem to be hopless.
And the poem below suddenly appeared in my mind like a prayer.
You are my only light,
when darkness falls down.
You are my strenght, my King,
who straightens my crown
whenever I stumble,or when my feet are weak.
You are my only hope, you’re the One that I seek.
You are my Saviour, I beg you, be here.
Things are going harder and I cannot sleep.
Everything seems like it’s falling apart.
But I keep my faith in you,
you’re my shining star.
Whenever it seems like it’s all getting dark,
whenever I feel so weak, or when the pain’s in my heart,
let me remember that you’re always here.
Nothing can separate me from my loving King.
King, who is Father, Friend and Creator.
Jesus, who’s Almighty God and my Savior.
Lord, I love You.
