jesus thinks im good
the devil treats me bad
the devil stays in my head
all day and all night

he never leaves me alone
he says i shouldnt pray
i shouldnt let the devil
get his own way

he attacks me more at night
when im feeling vulnerable and scared
he always catches me
when i am unaware

so jesus please help me
when i am feeling troubled
to get on with my life
and not listen to the devil

jesus you can help me
when i am feeling low
to gather my thoughts and feelings
i need you to show me how

so listen to me jesus
listen to all my prayers
i am asking for your help
and i know you will be there

i know you are there
i listen to your voice
every night when i am struggling
i need you to teach me to rejoice

so thankyou jesus
for being my friend
i know i can call on you
right to the end

i know you will be there for me
when i call
i need your help jesus
just in case i fall

and if i fall
and i know your watchin
i know you will stretch out your arms
and catch me

so i need not be afraid
of the devil anymore
i am in control
with your guidence and more
