i feel tired
i feel blue
why on earth
do i listen to you

you are the devil
your in my head
just ruining my life
i will listen to jesus instead

jesus tells me good things
he gives me peace in my mind
i like listening to jesus
he listens to me all the time

its time to start a new
instead of feeling blue
so lets start right now
jesus will show me how


jesus says i am good
the devil says i am bad
i will not listen to the devil
he only makes me sad

so its time to move forward
and rid the devil from my mind
its not going to be easy
its a battle all the time

so jesus please help me
get the devil out of my head
to lead a peaceful life
and listen to your good word instead

so lets start right now
on my journey ahead
and thankyou jesus
for helping me with the devil
