its a gift, its free
the price has been paid
I lay down my weary
in you have found rest
the cares of this world
Yes ive explored that wilderness
every crevice I have wandered
every voice I have heard
stopped dead in my tracks
when came a whisper of your word
keen where my ears
Could pinpoint a sound
when all of the time
you were conditioning me to be found
you came in like a lion
yet didnt tear me apart
you lead me out
in the covering of your ark..
your word cut down the wilderness
Made a clearing , quenched my thirst
and while drinking from your cup
I looked up,saw heaven on earth.
Strengthened by your presence
new life found in your word
and in a moment while I was growing
a paridigm shift occured
Its no longer I who is living
but my Lord and savior Jesus Christ
His spirit is living
His word is breathing
and in Him all matters of life.
