my mirror fades in time
a blurry ghost in lines
and my steps move forward
far ahead of where I've been
vying to kill this road behind
beat on the gravel
and waste no more time
my eyes are forward
looking ahead
behind me you burn
your ashes to cinder
dust to dust
I am born again
free of this sickness

sick of all the lies
hidden meanings behind eyes
blacker than black
in the dead of the heart
