So we say goodbye, once again
After all these troubled times,
You were always my best friend

Now there'll be no gentle touch,
And no more words that say,
For now and for forever, "I love YOU, so very much!"

Life isn't very kind,
And sometimes we give up,
We forget how hard true love, can be to seek and find

And from the day we find our Love,
We should never let them go,
Just hold on very tightly, to gifts given from above

I wish with all my heart to stay,
And hold you in my arms,
I wish we were forever, and forever was today.

I love this poem. I absolutely agree from the very first time we find love we ought to cherish it for a day will come when we will not have that person around.
