Pain

Pain resonates in a way.
That in a way
it doesn't want to go away.
And I cry out
who can save me
from this prison of shame.
This pain that doesn't want to fade.
It's aching in my brain.
Too many cut throat worries.
That won't contain the reasons
for my pain.
When I'm drowning,
I'm sinking further deep.
Why must I trample myself.
Who? and Why?
Wants to punish myself.
It's my fleeting death pain.
But then somewhere deep in my heart
a little girl cries out.
God's encouragement to sustain.
And that little girl is me
his life's loving daughter.
Crying out in the ocean of waves.
For me not to end her (us) this way.
And in those moments.
God shows me how loving
he is.
In showing me he's loving me.
Like I never left his brain.
Even when I was fighting
in the strain.
I'm that precious little girl.
That God cares for
and never wants to depart
in self-restraint.
In a message of love incontained.
He feels for our love.
A message he gives of his love.
When the torrents bring
heartless like pains.
Don't let me go she says.
Reflecting God's love in me.
Cause one day he'll end your pain.
She says," He doesn't want to lose
you to the bait.
Of going away;
Of going astray.
Of never coming home to stay."
Because we are married in
his spirit of love this way.
So give God the same.
He's faithful he will
never leave us.
Till we come out victorious.
In the difficulties that brought our pains.
Loving God requires
a promise of something
much more to behold.
His loving care
when we trust his reign.
