I listen to the world
as if through the water
I see the world
as if through the glass
I touch the world
as if with the glove
Everything is an abstraction

Everything is a type
The world remains distant
as long as I’m distant from You,
the only closeness of my life

You inside me
hears Yourself outside me
My own ears are but a pool of water
You inside me
sees Yourself outside me
My own eyes are but an empty glass
You inside me
feels Yourself outside me
My own fingers are but a frozen glove

You remove my every sense
and invite me to Your triune dance
by One in One and to One
where everything is heard
without the hearing
everything is seen
without the seeing
and everything is felt
without the feeling​
