Return to innocence
like a stolen kiss
where expectation delights
in waiting bliss

Like super man and peter pan
great power, great joy
in heart and hand

Into the sunrise, white endless sands
a waiting innocence
do return again

Missing ingredient
delight of God and man
return to innocence
your hope is at hand.

Interesting poem. Relating it to Christ and God's love is a bit of stretch for me though.

What I really liked about your other poem was the direct connection to the book of Revelations.

Revelation 15:2
And I saw what looked like a -Sea Of Glass- glowing with fire and, standing beside the sea, those who had been victorious over the beast and its image and over the number of its name. They held harps given them by God.

I am glad you liked that.
I think after some time in the mess of people and sin you start to see things negativity in expectation.
God was telling me that gets in between you and Him.
Part of that coming as a child is seeking to return to that innocence and having that expectation of His return.
The change was from me asking God to deal with whatever was still keeping us apart.
I have this innocent expectation once again, clearly He changed something in me.
