In the dead of night
this moonbeams' light
a beacon shinning hope
What is this love?
Who is this comet blazing through the black hole of my heart
my soul
You crush the infinite gravity of days gone by
and replace them in a rage of glory.
I wished upon a star
deep into the midnight sky
but I never dreamed I'd find such a friend in you...
a love... a joy...
destiny?
I don't even want to question or go to that place of pondering.
I just want to love you in this perfect moment
for who you are
what you are
all you'll ever be
A god-like design
This perfection
this shining light
this star bright moonbeam
sent to me.
If only for one moment in time,
I shall cherish thee.
