The Deliverer

Fruit forbidden
By Eve to Adam given

Sweet freedom, fellowship, sons!
The wrong choice, chosen

His visits not enough?
Fellowship of His company not enough?

Foul and crafty evil one
Able to lure away:

To hurt his Maker
By hurting human sons

Forsaking commandments given by loving visits
Heed paid to the wretchedly evil one

Imbibing the foulness and filthiness of that lie, fell Adam and Eve
Exiled, shame, graciously, covered by the Master, and a promise

Timeless in the God of gods, healing promised
For God loved all that He created, because it is good

Nothing impossible, too much, for the Master,
The Father gave His Son in whom He is always well pleased

Despising the shame, to the Father all obedience given
The Spirit, in a person, the flame of that Firey love

The Pascal Lamb, the highest power of the universe
Dies in human flesh because it is finished

Risen by the Fathers hand, all power is given unto Thee
Deliverer, Healer of my soul

Vengeful, and powerful against evil one
A Lamb in forgiveness, humility, gentleness and grace

Compassionate intense Lover of us, older brother, at the Right hand of the Father:
Holy, Holy, Holy, are you Lord of Hosts

Heaven and Earth are Full of Your Glory
