The Father and the Lamb First

I will remember the One that Loves me
I will remember that my life is in your hands

Comfort thankfully from my sisters and brothers
Comfort of all comforts is You worthy of all praise and honor

When I worship you, you are so close, mindfuly or not
Worthy of worship when I don't perceive you

I will trust you with all my strength
Because it is You I am trusting, I will not fail

My spirit will be taken to you lover of my soul, by the harvest of angels
I will be alone when taken, but I will not be alone where I am taken,

I hear:

Praise to the Lamb of God that was slain
Glory, glory, glory to the Father, Son and Spirt,

I think I'm noticing a similar phenomenon as in some of my poems. There are some distinctive key phrases that start to occur in multiple poems by the same author (e.g. "The One That Loves Me" was the title of one of your earlier poems and the same phrase occurs in this poem). That's probably inevitable and I'd argue it's even a very good thing because in the best case it allows one to import a whole host of meanings from one poem to another one in a single phrase (assuming that the reader is familiar enough with the wider body of work by the same author).

Your poetry is great! I reread some of them again as well as Charlirenee. She writes poems similar in nature to mine. Haven't seen her on chat lately but wish she would write more for me to read.

i say 'The One that Loves Me' because I so much appreciate that He really loves me a lot...so ends up in my poems. I write my poems starting with whatever thought impresses me (I think not mine), add sentences to the rest, reorganize edit, try to make sure it makes a little sense. I re-read my poems later (and as I said others) because they are like reliving the experience of them, and what is said in them. Narcisist Huh? Nope I give Him all the credit. No matter what I said He did it (I only made the mistakes).

I find God exhilirating, personal, someone I could be with forever. His company is pleasure. For sure i am infinitely understating who God really is.
