[h=3]The Gift[/h]

Tread Softly on earth for the Gift that we carry
Is His Precious Spirit, birthed out from His Son
Be careful to watch that Your gates are secure
Be careful to watch till Your race is then won

1 Ki 19:11 And he said, Go forth, and stand upon the mount before the LORD. And, behold, the LORD passed by, and a great and strong wind rent the mountains, and brake in pieces the rocks before the LORD; but the LORD was not in the wind: and after the wind an earthquake; but the LORD was not in the earthquake:
1 Ki 19:12 And after the earthquake a fire; but the LORD was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice.
1 Ki 19:13 And it was so, when Elijah heard it that he wrapped his face in his mantle, and went out, and stood in the entering in of the cave. And, behold, there came a voice unto him, and said, What doest thou here, Elijah?

9 And he came there to the cave4 , * and lodged there; and behold, the Word of YAHWEH came to him, and said to him, What are you doing here, Elijah?5
10 And he said, zealously, I have been zealous for YAHWEH Elohim of Hosts, for the sons of Israel have forsaken Your covenant; they have thrown down Your altars, and they have killed Your prophets with the sword, and I am left, I alone, and they seek to take my life. [Rom 11:3];
11 And he said, Go out and stand on the mountain before YAHWEH. And, behold, YAHWEH passed by, and a great and strong wind tearing the mountains and breaking the rocks in bits before YAHWEH! YAHWEH was not in the wind. And after the wind was an earthquake, but YAHWEH was not in the earthquake. 12 And after the earthquake was a fire, but YAHWEH was not in the fire; and after the fire came a voice which was a small whisper.6 13 And it happened when Elijah heard, he wrapped his face in his robe and went out and stood at the cave opening; and, behold, a voice came to him, and it said, What are you doing here, Elijah?7 *

Sometimes God has to take us through a few storms before we calm down enough to hear his voice
