Reverence of high altitude brings forth great expectations,
A jilted waltz calls for more destruction,
Semblances of love marries the lower back,
As the swan moves with grace the crane jolts the cracks,
Resolution runs high and the music motivates,
Even a tune of static questions the Odra Magadhi,
Secular differences rise and the salsa comes to play,
Determined to set forth a new hope with deafening rain,
Emotions run high and the pace is set,
Playing homage to even the most sacred of dances,
As the night runs archaic and the morning dies,
The cacophonous orgy turns to the skies,
Gloves come off and inhibitions fly,
The fire melts the shadows at play,
Seeking retribution from the adolescent display,
In that place there will be weeping, and gnashing of teeth,
Demons come out and perform synchronized swimming,
With the abuse comes the lost of inhibition,
Yet for one, the music stops.
In a sea of drunken, obscene spinning,
The dawn rises with a new dance.
Slow at first, almost balletic,
A ballad of promise arises.
Raise the tempo for hope of a new sunrise,
With each sinuous, and clever move,
The scales come off and you are renewed.
As the new dawn approaches more join in,
Seeking redemption from the hellish orgy,
And from the ashes a righteous dance awakens,
The remnants cast off, and the promise rings true,
Instead of being forgotten, life began anew.
With eternity fresh within our minds,
We dance in delight to the Good News.
For thine is the kingdom,
And the power and the glory,
Forever and ever…. Amen.

This is a really intense poem, truly breathtakingly done. The word choice is so poignant as is the contrast between the two images. Truly amazing. :)
