My Dad wrote He said He would meet me at the train station
So pack my bags...my heart fluttered
The excitement grew apprehensively
The house faded in the sand
The Station grew with beauty on the horizon
Distant hope approached
The whistles of the trains penetrated the fog
as one singing a final good-bye
The Porter took my bags
ABBA!!

The train is soon in coming
for the father sent his son
for Jesus the conductor
drives this train its heavenly run

There is room inside for every
man and woman boy and child
there is room for every gentile
who becomes all meek and mild

there is love and care for all the
passengers who come aboard
and to take them all to heaven
is the call now come aboard

Now the angel on the platform
points out luggage much too large
"take the things our from inside it
for there's no rooms quite that large

we are going on to heaven
you wont need that where you go
for the Lord has given every
thing created, not to hoard!

one small lady had a suitcase
much to large to drag up stairs
when she heard her new instructions
her face turned five shades of red

the whistle now was blowing
and the whistle made us look
watching for the lady opening
taking out one suit and book

The train it started moving,
and alongside it she ran
but instead of getting on board
she looked back at her old man

Both stood standing at the edge of
the train station platform back
wishing they had got on board
and had left their junk in back

But too late the train now moving
hooted "onward onward still"
so goodbye to all you stubborn
and the selfish stubborn will

we last saw the lady crying
blowing through her handkerchief
then we lost the sight forever
and turned forward for relief

Jesus our conductor
took our tickets punched in love
and he told us he was happy
we had chosen life above

I am glad you downsized all your
Babylonian things cheap
and your houses stuffed with wallmart,
costco, garbage ten foot deep

We are traveling off to heaven
with a pole and back pack small
with no food or water either
for we trust it all to God...

Come aboard!
