This Is What Shapes Me
All I am is a child from then to now
I learn what I know with belief
I hear the stories and answers
And see how I think I should be

I learn from you
I learn the ways of love and hate
I learn what is thought to be right
I learn how to use and abuse
I learn how to steal and lie
This is what shapes my mind
I hear from you
I hear from you how I am less
I hear from you my very worth
I even hear how I am neglected
I hear from your lack of response
You’re too busy for me, even at best
This is what shapes my soul
I see from you
I see how to hide my care
And the importance in how to get my way
I see how to hurt and to kill
And how to build a wall around me
I see how to dig my own grave
This is what shapes my heart
I know who I am
I want to be someone else
Not like I’ve learned, seen, and heard
All that I am is filled with misery and deceit
I have seen the Life in Yahushua
And know that’s how I want to be
Because that’s how the love of Elohim will make me…
Like 1st Corinthians 13

if you are acknowledging 'The Life in Yahusha',
then let the poetic-darkness die.

if you are acknowledging 'The Life in Yahusha',
then let the poetic-darkness die.
Truly you fail to see the message of the poetry here.
This reflects what the children see in this world, and how it can shape them.
To even begin to understand the Kindom of Elohim, we must be converted and be like the children.
We are all shaped by what we experience, therefore we should seek to that which is good and right, which is the Word made flesh and dwelt among us, Yahushua the Bĕn (Son) of Yahuwah, who is ha’Mashiah (The Messiah).

Chopper, I have definitely understood your message,
I can certainly go back and take my lessons from
the 'old-man' and do my best to not repeat them.
when all things become new and we start anew,
how lovely our world becomes compared to the old.

I understand your view too.

You can write a poem without the darkness part and I will enjoy it :)

To the One who holds the keys

It was said from the beginning
What would be at the world's end
When the Truth is right before you
Tell me who's really your friend

I can tell you all I know
And it won't really mean a thing
Unless I tell you about the Messiah
He's my one and only King.

Lift up your hands, fall down to your knees
Reach out in faith to the One who holds the keys
He's the first and last, alive forever more
He's the only Way, He's the only Door

We fall in our own wisdom
We fall in our own mistakes
We can't live on our own
We've got to trust in Him with faith

I've said it before
And I'll say it again
We can't live without His love
We need to ask Him in

Lift up your hands, fall down to your knees
Reach out in faith to the One who holds the keys
He's the first and last, alive forever more
He's the only Way, He's the only Door

He's the one who died for you and me
He rose again our salvation from sin
We can't live without His love
We need to ask Him in

Lift up your hands, fall down to your knees
Reach out in faith to the One who holds the keys
He's the first and last, alive forever more
He's the only Way, He's the only Door
