When I run through the forest, with my arms outstretched
and the sun is barely out of reach, I can feel with my hands a wall of darkness
and the twilight’s breach
I can feel with my palms where the treetops are barren, where the sky is bright
where the raindrops are heavier, where the evening takes flight
She’s draped in a dense fog, dappled in dyes
lit by the faint glow of stars that she hides
I feel with my fingers, her hair running gold
its streams through the valley, with richness and bold
The planets flow wayward, they abandon the sun
and die in the grasp of her eyes
A carousel of nova flashes
roam the depths of the skies
where she besets her golden lashes
aurora will wake with a sigh
and the sun is barely out of reach, I can feel with my hands a wall of darkness
and the twilight’s breach
I can feel with my palms where the treetops are barren, where the sky is bright
