This dusty road that takes me home
Is one of many I have roamed
And living by my foolish pride
Had only hurt me deep inside

What we gain is what we lose
And still we find it hard to choose

Those times we lose is really when we gain

Oh gentle Spirit stay with me
Show the way that I can't see
As I start another day
That has so many shades of gray

I listen for that still small voice
To guide me through my every choice
It brings me to a grateful knee

From the earth into the skies
