A rock appeared
And then a blade,
A wheel it turned
Something gave way.
Sparks they flew
grinding occured,
Then a whisper
"I'm sharpening you in My Word".
Mercy applied it covers justice
like forgiveness overlooks
While anger cusses.
love covers a multitude of sin
a double edged sword
I'm understanding what it means.
One side can not exist without the other
As justice becomes known
mercys being developed on the other.
It is the same with anger and forgiveness
so why not sharpen whatever is weakest..
I've known justice and anger too
Mercy now being sharpened
Peace my new shoes.
instead of asking why is this happening
ill shout it out loud
Lord please keep sharpening!!
Yes its painful
yes required and needed
but Jesus you wept
and through your pores your blood beaded.
Our father who is in heaven
hollowed be thy name
thy kingdom come
thy will be done
on earth as it is in heaven
Give us this day our daily bread
and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those
who trespass against us
And lead us not into temptation
but deliver us from every evil,
For thine is the Kingdom
the power and glory forever
