A couple of teenagers saw me running and without a word they took off too...
I guess they thought I was running from a terrorist or
something...
These are truly some sad times that we're living in.
But it was kind of funny too.
Pond rule #1: Thou shalt not share thy ducks food.

But honestly...those were the biggest ducks I've seen at the pond in a while.

Right now I'm at the corner store waiting in line to pay for my lime flavored gaterade and typing this up.
There's a young woman and some kids behind me and one of the little ones is whining about wanting some candy.
Ever wonder why kids embarrass you in public places?
I think it's because they know you won't smack 'em.

I was sitting in the park near the duck pond when this extra fat pigeon waddled up to me and since I had bread I tore him or her off a few big chunks...
That's when the ducks bum rushed me..
I never ran so fast in my life....

Oz is a land of many dangers - it's a wonder that any of us are alive !!
Look at what we have to deal with, yet another peril we suffer

Yep the problem was so big here they are trialling silver, shiny chip packets to blind them and scare them away – true – all true haha – I believe it could be Hungry Jacks doing it – well I dunno, maybe the chips are better at Hungry Jacks?

I have a story about this: my youngest son was about 6 and we were standing in line at a supermarket. He was arguing with his mother and real loudly said "shut up." I don't let my kids talk to their mother that way. I turned around and very softly slapped his lips, and said don't talk to her that way." What does he do? He throw his arms up in the air and falls backward on to the floor. The next thing I know, everyone around us are staring thinking I knocked him down. The manager walks up and opens another checkout line just to get us out of there. I was so embarrassed, I had to walk a few blocks to cool down before I could even address the kid. That was about 32 years ago. This kid always was a handful from 2 years on.
