In full acknowledgment that we, as Christians, are not to worry about tomorrow and that our lives are not our own, Lord willing, how do you envision your life 5 to 10 years from now?

In 5 years I imagine that I might be a little higher up within the company I work with, or starting a career in another agency. I'll be done with Grad school, and hopefully married.

10 years... I'd like to be having kids by then. Other than that I don't know.

Thats a good question

5 years probably in time out with my kids..........of course that would entail getting married................

10 years hopefully retired...........unless the above happens and then I will probably be teaching somewheres.......of course this is all contingent on my Presidential bid and how it turns out................

5 years - married 2 child and pregnant. Working in interior design part time, really just for fun. Smiling at all the people as I open the door for them for morning service. Making floral arrangements for random pfolks.

10 years - 5 children and trying to convince my husband that even though he is in his 50's its okay to have more kids. Teaching sunday school to toddlers. Baking treats for fellowship events.

5 - married, seminary online study just about completed, praying the prayer of Jabez, and, being a big property sale away from changing careers and, prayerfully, not having to worry about things moneywise or just poor and content with what God is doing for me, providing.
10 - pastoring at my own built church in the area of God's choice for me, growing a congregation that is wanting nothing more than God's best constantly going on in their lives and showing them life application for that happening, from there being so on fire for sacrificial living for Jesus.

Psalms 37:4 Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart.

All it will take is a smidge more devaluing of the dollar, which will usher in the one-world currency, and subsequently the one-world government...and the continuing destabilization of the Middle East and increasing hostility toward Israel.

Yeah...it will be soon.

@ 27, those would have been pretty much the same things I would have said too.
Then life happened. I have three great kids...but would be nice to have another adult in the mix too. :)

Just goes to show that we dont know what tomorrow holds. God gives us enough light for the step we are on. :)

(although I do not know why you figure your husband being so much older. In 10 years, you will be 37, why do you assume he will be 15 + years older? Or is just your preferance? I have no problem with age gaps younger or older.)

Fair 'nuff. :) I don't have a problem with age one way or the other. Its more about compatability/spiritual maturity etc.
