Be aware that this is not a dating forum. But rather a support forum for singles. The site owner discourages using the site as a dating site. Some people have met, and married even, on this site, but that's more incidental than people seeking it out on here.
Also, statements like 'i'm sick to death of being alone' puts out an air of desperation, which is not attractive. Personally, i would never involve myself with someone who has an attitude about being single as that. I would feel i was being dated because i was the one that showed up, not because of any true interest in who i am.
I suggest you read through the singles posts, even some of the older ones, and learn to rethink your mentality about singleness. Yes, most of us in this singles forum would like to be married, and i'm sure we have our moments of loneliness, but i'm impressed at how many of them have learned to be content in their singleness and not so enamored with dating or marriage to the point it ruins their life, or puts them at risk to make a bad decision out of desperation. Jump into the posts and get active. I know i have learned a lot about being a single Christian just from this forum, and am better off for it now.

I don't have a problem with this lady's post. I think it's good for Christians to seek a Christian spouse rather than becoming unequally yoked. But being that direct might turn off some people, but it's up to her. And since it is a forum some may respond to her with feedback and guidance and that's fine too.
