Rememeber HIV that is actually still around
But now there are drugs that can help infected people from getting full blown AIDS, even if there is no 'vacinne' though the best thing is not to have sexual contact with someone you dont know!

When it first was around apparently HEAPS of people were dying from it because they didnt have treatment or know about it. And not only 'gay' people got it. Children also got it from contaminated blood infusions.

It spread very quickly through some communities and heaps of children are orphaned from AIDs in africa.

The thing is it was a sort of pandemic though the hysteria over that has died down that doesnt mean to say it didnt happen it actually revealed some ugly truths about the human condition.

There was also medical scares over things like cot death (or SIDS, sudden infant death syndrome) that babies were dying in their cots and nobody knew why.

im coming down with a cold...I always get one when the temperature suddenly drops, but seems Im getting one just before I go back to school.

Friend said she had a cough, last week tested five times and it WASNT covid. She caught it from. her grandson

I do agree its getting a bit ridiculous. If you are sick whether its cold or a covid just stay home but people dont stay away from others long enough thats the problem. I dont know where I got it from just picked it up or maybe I just always now have this cold virus now and it gets triggered in the cold weather. All the social things I need to do, and plan for have to be put on hold. I recall as a child at primary school I never caught a cold. always attended school every single day it was open but I actually did keep my personal distance with others...didnt go up and hug people or hang out in big groups. (I was a shy child) . I could never pretend to be sick and stay home from school as I never got sick! But that changed as I got older

Now Im a lot more social I seem to get more colds lol. Kids would come up and hug me and spread germs l... I remember when I had my first kiss I got sick afterwards the boy must have had a cold and spread it to me. lol

Colds are hard to deal with in a the world that requires you to show up every single day and to think this virus originally began by infecting ONE host. If youve never had a cold in your whole life you are one of the lucky ones. Basically its caught by just living and breathing and nobody can keep washing their hands ALL the time...

The govt didnt give out the message DONT KISS EACH OTHER IT SPREADS DISEASE you wonder how people would react to that. Instesd it tells everyone to wear masks.

Still wearing a mask whenever I go out... especially when I am inside the bus, train or in a large crowd... I've been exposed to someone with COVID and heared stories from friends who got COVID and suffered so much with the infection some died some survived...it is still a thing but maybe not like the first time Covid came out.... ☺️

I have had covid, and so had mum and sis but funny my brothers and dad never caught it (yet) Some aunties and cousins caught it. We all recovered though.

Its more of a concern for the elderly or those with compromised immune systems, if you live somewhere that doesnt have adequate ventilation and is already quite polluted its probably going to affect you more since your lungs will be weaker. My hunch is so many died in China because their air quailty is terrible.

Friend got covid and rang me, I tested myself it was nothing so I covered her classes.

But she was with me the night before for about two hours and watching a movie..?!

If she'd succumbed any later she would have to cancel her trip to Australia to see her daughter. Im wondering if anyone at the school I have left has got covid Im sure they had record numbers of staff away the other week and just didnt tell anyone.

Good thing the government forced all the teachers to be vaccinated... Or perhaps the cure is the disease? More profitable that way, certainly.

Lol. I confess my heart was perhaps a little too gleeful when I learned the news. Not sure why he did it, 'though... ;-) "Too tired" just doesn't cut it for me. That's like Hitler getting to 1944, and then saying "Yeah, I'm just not up to the rigours of genocide and tyranny anymore - I need a vacation."

Well they are predicting a new virus to be released worse than covid so perhaps he does not want to go through it all again esp after the threats to him and his family. Something sure doesn't add up.

I like your reasoning - it could be why. I know he got a number of legal warnings before he finally withdrew the mandates. It's possible he knows if he does the same thing again after being warned so sternly, he's legally putting the noose around his neck. Leave the dirty work to someone else who can plead ignorance again, maybe?

Actually lots did.
I'm one of them. And if we're speaking technically, still no one ever has isolated the alleged virus. And it's now widely admitted that covid is the same as a cold. So those people were right (once again), I'm pleased to say.

You should. You would do well. The main thing is not to get killed. That's what they tend to do with those who are too honest to go along with their schemes, and whom they can't blackmail. :)

You could help that other good guy... Nick somebody. He's a Lib, I think, but I like what I've seen of him thus far.

I thought your triangle had sunk into the ocean beneath a vast propaganda campaign of junk mail and leaflets from our resident librarian and wannabe president?

Actually lots did. And still do. Among other denials/minimizing/rationalizations/deceptions.
Allow me to rephrase...those who didn't want to get shots weren't objecting to the shots because of covid.

I thought people were just scared of needles

Im like ok but why not just admit you are scared/afraid rather than try and blame the govt for a big conspiracy? I dont think shots were mandatory anywhere if you didnt want one it was your choice. Though people still lost their jobs whether they had them or not.
