I saw another article on that same study... It says that young people in their 20's (millenials) are now LONELIER than older people over 72 years of age! 
I found that quite shocking even though it was no surprise to me that young people now are very lonely. When I was growing up, people actually talked to each other face to face and spent time with each other in person... this generation does most of their talking online or in texts...Its ironic because young people now have hundreds if not thousands of so-called 'friends', yet they are lonelier than ever...
