I would probably say Deborah and Barak (spelling?) combined haha. They were both spiritually strong, and were not afraid to stand up for what they believed in, even against all odds. Plus, they didn't have that icky icky corruption of many other military leaders in the Bible lol

I think i identify with Paul. When God came into my heart, he changed my whole personality. I'm tender hearted and have empathy for people. I wasnt like that before i became a christian.. Paul is also the person who moved me to start a letter writing ministry:)

Probably most like Moses, because when I hear God commands I'm always ready with an excuse of why I can't do it. Then I can hear God quietly quoting Zechariah 4:6, reminding it is by the Holy Spirit that we as saints do things.

According to the test I just took @FB, mine is Elijah. It says "you're somewhat of a loner (right). You prefer to challenge others on your terms (right). When the confrontation doesn't work the way you want you may get depressed (right). The good news is that you have inner strength that few people possess (right).

Hey, xJoe, God hears your prayers and....your answers. You said you see yourself like Abraham , like me :), but what I like you said about His calling to leave his hometown and he does and God , as Gen. 12 says, makes Abraham 'The Father Of Many Nations.' I encourage you to stay strong in your unchristian environment and pray for your family and have faith, like Abraham did have bringing only son,Issaac, up mountain to sacrifice him as was God's call on his life. Wbraham's obedience to God saved his son on that mountain.

i would say esther. She was strong beautiful and smart. She was also very dedicated to her family, like me.

I identify a little with all of them. Some of them have doubts, fears, and worries just like I do at times. A lot of the OT characters had these problems. Others feel persecuted for their faith...like Jesus himself. And others have done so many wrongs...they are surprised with how much good God can do through them...like Paul.

Nice thread idea. :)
