I want to thank everyone for their kind words and suggestions.. I am glad to know that I'm not alone.. I'm not going to act like being a Christian means you feel happy and positive all the time, and I also know that being a Christian is the best possible thing that we can have here in planet earth... We found what everyone is searching for... Bottom line is that this is not out permanent home so I guess it's normal to feel bored, out of place, and restless at times because this is a temporary assignment.. again thanks for listening.. I have found the secret to this life, and I'm content with that.

Four thoughts I had about being bored:

1. You're bored. That's great! It means you use your brain more than the average couch potato. That means you have a better chance of retaining your good mind when you get old.

2. You're bored. That's great! Now is a great time to be learning. Learn more about what you are interested in, or what you always wanted to learn but never had the time to. Personally I would recommend learning how to use a computer to make music, but that's because I'm a music nerd. :D

3. When people say they are bored I'm reminded of a kid looking in a fridge full of food and saying "Mom, I'm hungry. There's nothing to eat." The problem is not that you have nothing to do, but that the things you have at hand to do are not what you want to do, and either you can't imagine what you would want to do instead or what you want to do is out of reach.

Do you know what you would rather be doing? If you do have something you would be doing while you are bored, is it out of reach? And if it is, why? Just curious.

4. You're bored. That's great! Come over and help me with something. :D I'm beta-testing a mod for somebody, making a music track for somebody else, working on a music project for church, and I never get around to cleaning up around here...

Lol I would love to help out with a music track.. I love music or rather the ministry of music....I can't play a musical instrument but I like singing... And I dint know if I stated previously but I am a single mother who takes care of the household, goes to school, and works. I barely have a moment to breathe sometimes... So it's definitely not boredom from a lack of work to do, it is just as you stated, it's not what I want to do... I want to rest, lol, take a vacation... I guess I feel like this season of my life is one big job and I never get to do enjoyable stuff.. I'm so exhausted if I did have spare time, I literally just pass out in my bed every night.. it's complex I guess... I want to get more involved with ministries but I can't with my schedule and kids right now.. I'm pretty much an intercessor in the meantime. I would rather be able to take a breather to do something I want to do..whatever that may be.. burnt out and life out of balance...butttt.. there isn't any relief in sight for awhile.. guess it's just my sowing season..

There are things that can be done that have nothing to do with worldly things. Look into what interests you, just because it is not a church appointed activity does not mean that there is anything wrong with it

The race don't go to the swift, or strong, but to the one who endureth to the end. never get weary in doing good.
