I love these birds! There was a pet shop I would frequent that had one named Merlin. He was there for a few years until he was finally bought. I miss Merlin. I hope he's doing well with his family. I could not afford to buy him myself. He was several thousand dollars. :cry:

I know how you feel.
The African Greys are very expensive.
They are uncanny how much they seem to know what they say.
The Lord has blessed me with some of the most wonderful exotic animals and wildlife.
It never got easy to have one stolen or die. One like that Grey would be tough since they are so intelligent and responsive.

I didnt mention, but every one of those blessings of mine are gone now, except a little opossum rescue that is wild and will be returned outside as soon as she is able.
For those of us that love animals, it is very tough to lose our little friends isn't it?
Did Merlin talk or know any tricks?

I probably would. lol That's actress Tippi Hedren, who has many pets. I'm actually not sure if that's an impromptu picture or staged. If it's staged, I would guess she supposed to be calling the police.

I thought she would look at the cat coming through the window unless it was photoshopped. Now that makes sense what you described as a scene with her pet cat. That is seriously huge!
