I would imagine there could be some great conversations of how God is working in there life.
By today's standards. You may find yourself being distracted by the men you have mentioned not taking showers as much as you would like.

I'm not sure how you would know they were chosen....like a David or Moses or John the Baptist? I think you just pray about it and then let God do the choosing for you and if you happen to end up with a chosen then lucky you.....But really until someone's life plays out how do you really know?

The only way I can imagine the point of the thread is this - trying to say that there are different classes of Christians, which is not biblical really.

Every Christian has equal access to God, and are called. The question is how far are you willing to resolve yourself towards the pursuit of God in your life.

I guess the question would be to the OP - what would attract a guy who is actively pursuing Christ with all his heart, to you?

Instead of wondering about getting together with a chosen one......How about becoming a chosen one? How would that happen? Well I myself am on that quest meaning I am learning to fully submit myself to God and listen and obey His prompts. Do I do this all the time? Wish I could say yes, but there is still resistance in me and I keep giving myself to God in submission.

Maybe that would be a great New Year's resolution for us to think about.....Fully submitting ourselves to God and giving Him the lead in our lives....Bet there would be a whole lot less fighting/debating in the Bible Discussion Forum....that would be an interesting development.....hummmm

It would never happen. There will always be yelling and arguments in the Bible Discussions forum. It is one of the fundamental laws of nature.

It kinda sounds like she's talking about people who are chosen by God for specific and pretty major things...like say, dating someone who was chosen to lead God's people out of Egypt. But that guy died a while back, so I'm not sure how much luck she'll have.

I am so confused right now.
lol.. someone like that, but in this millenium time.

I believe God calls us all to different things; we who are saved are already chosen. We don't have to do great things, we just gotta follow Jesus in whatever he has called us, either to big things or small things.

Bafa, do you want to be married? Does he want to be married? It shouldn't matter whether he's a "chosen" or not. If he believes in Jesus, he's saved. I'd say go for it too. Has he asked you out? Start the conversation.
i'm talking about how is it like to date someone who holds a high sit from God our Father in Heaven, and how is it like to date someone who is filled with the holy spirit and pre-chosen that i believe that he or she is still existing nowadays because it's not yet the end of time..;) i think i find it funny, if your that someone who is filled with guilt and quickened by the spirit while conversiating each other on that date.

marrying is fine for me because i'm a woman, whatever God's will for me on marriage, i will accept. because following God is much better:)

hi there! i would like to ask if how about dating a God's elect or chosen specially someone who holds or seated in the highest seat of the world on this generation:cool:?..
I think someone who's been chosen will be too focused on his/her mission to even think about dating..
