IS it going to be a show you watch tonight to make it another good night, a good-good night of having under your Lord and Saviour or does that Satanic stuff make ya run, say, 'oh brother, demons, yeah, right,' or, maybe, move you more like Joseph did Potipher's wife in Genesis ....flee!!! Or, do you think that the Lord is leading you to watch it , to take that paper and shoo off demons, like Mega's avatar :)

---I went to a bible study last night and teacher said for us to watch it because we will be talking about it next Wed. So, you know where I will be. Personally, the Lord leads, but I think, we long as this is not a weakness ( sure, we all have different things that take us from God, the very definición of sin, )I think, so, if demons and spin-n-nniing necks and things are not an excorcism of your life , I say watch it!

Demons ARE real, but we do not right against them as flesh and blood, scripture is clear, we fight against the 'principalities and powers of darkness.'

I never watched this show, just read your thread here.

I watched the exorcist (scary) :)
good that they saw it was not her behaving that way but she was posessed by evil bad demons etc and that they helped her the priests.
Though was difficult.One of the priests died.
In the name of Jesus they eventually got rid of the demons (took a few series)

But theres writings about real live happenings also evident and less evident and also many stories of people who have suffered years b4 they eventually got help from priest or someone.
Watched a couple documentaries about it also.

One woman you could see her change and you could if you looked see when she was in her body and when the "others" demons had taken over.Some of them were manipulative and lied cause they wanted to steer and have her body and were clever but in the end the exorcist did not give up and got rid of them and she was in peace and difference in her body appearance was huuuge.see her face, expressions etc.

While I recognize demons for what they are and know that we have been given authority over them (and occasionally take that authority), this is not something I spend much time on. In my late teens I started reading a lot of books related to this and it caused me to become seriously depressed, so I tend to avoid it now as I think dwelling on it can invite negative influences into our lives. I'd rather spend my time learning more about the Lord and how to walk as He did/does, as He has given us victory over such things and the scriptures call us to whatever is noble, good, pure, etc.

it was on ABC and it was a Primetime Nightline special called Beyond Belief. The casting out demons was like episode 3.

I saw a film about a guy who got some spirit in him and made him say and do things in his body so everyone thought it was him while his spirit was like "asleep " or supressed or something he was like a "thing" and when "woke up" tried fighting get spirit out and telling others "wasnt me".
Noone beleived him "shaggy ; wasnt me" lol...
But eventually he found a woman to beleive him and that things were not as they seemed and the person "displayed" was not him...
She helped him and after a hard fight they eventually freed him and his body and got rid of the unwelcome visitor missusing his body.

Saw a documentary a priest was casting out demons and this woman was shaking and saying wierd things and languages that she did not speak and was pretty intence.Took ages for priest to get demons out.Lots of patience.
