I grew up in the days of one TV channel in Canada! We resisted TV with our kids till they were in their teens, and basically the internet hadn't been invented!

We all became avid readers, and we all have a few university degrees. But I am too much into media! We went to Mexico a few weeks ago, where the internet was pay as you go! Ouch! We got over it in an hour and had a wonderful time reconnecting!

Meanwhile, back home, I have to kick myself off my devices and remember to be productive. I worry about my grandkids, who are internet savy at 12 months!

I think disconnecting is awesome! I just wish I had the personal discipline to do it on my own!

You keep using the word "disconnecting".

I don't even understand what you mean.
