I think it's human nature to try to "define" people within specific confines.
I think we all try to make sense of things but we are given limited information.

Most people would rather hang out with like-minded friends than friends who disagree over everything and dislike stuff.

I think its ok to say you dont like certain things though, for example I dont like wearing black clothes, lest someone try and give me any black clothes to wear as it makes me really hot and uncomfotable, and makes me look like Im going to a funeral.
But I said this to a friend once and the annoying thing is shes always asking me whenever we happen to be out shopping, oh you dont like black clothes do you, as if shes trying to get me to change my mind.

Ok you dont actually need to remind ME of stuff I already know.

its especially hard say if you are vegetarian and you say you dont like meat. Everyone else will then constantly remind you that you dont eat meat and end up making a huge deal of it.

but why pretend to like something thats popular or common? hmm I would rather people have the guts to say they dont like something and make a stand.

Course Jesus did it when he told the money changers to get out of the temple. God doesnt like stuff too he doesnt pretend to like sin.
