He does, but according to the previous post, only if you're not a loveless, disgusting, wicked slut.
It does cause me to wonder who @JeremiahsCup thinks all these loveless, disgusting, wicked sluts are fornicating with if not equally loveless, disgusting, wicked men, of whom, for some strange reason, he repeatedly fails to make mention :geek:

Deut 24:1-4 pretty much forbid exactly that scenario for the nation of Israel. So the question is, is this sexual immorality that is forbidden under the new covenant as well or do we treat it more like the laws that say the priests couldn't marry a divorced woman?

The bigger question in my mind would be: this person left you once for a better option, are you really going to give them an opportunity to do the same thing to you again?

If a divorce occurs and the wife remarries and after 10 years divorces again and wants to remarry her first husband and the first husband stayed single, should the first husband feel obligated to be open to the remarriage? Would he be sinning if he did remarry since she has now been married to another man?
I dont think that is sin, in that particular circumstance. If someone original gets back together with their first partner, then good on them. Its not a sin to go for the first or remarry in this case. The bible says if we divorce on the grounds of unfaithfulness, then it is not a sin. If we divorce on the grounds of any of other reasons, then it could be considered a sin.
