You are lovely inside and out Tif. I base this on your posts. I'm no skinny guy either. If I lived in your area and was 10 years younger, I'd ask you out for dinner and a show, and feel like I was out of my league in so doing.

Women feel inadequate too. I have asked myself plenty of times "What is so wrong with me that no one wants me?"

Sometimes you wonder what you are doing wrong or why it seems that so many other women have men, or date regularly but you rarely get a date. You got hru all the possiblities in your brain about why its not happening for you and then you feel not good enuf.

Its weird because before I became a Christian I used to date or at least get hit on fairly often. But now its very rare for a man to even talk to me. LOL

Ditto! I feel your pain. I get looked over by both secular AND Christian men. I'm beginning to think I have some disease that they can see, but I am not aware of yet. Yet, I look around and see people in relationships (even some of the most double minded and unstable people are finding companions) and have to wonder why God is forcing me into waiting for what seems to be my whole life. Is there something so wrong that the only one who would want me is God? Was I meant to have a husband, or will it always be just me and God for eternity?

This made me laugh so hard because I have thought exactly that.

Its like "how can I be so pathetic that only God wants anything to do with me?"

So I generally use reverse psychology on myself and say that I am such a good woman that just anyman can't handle it. So God has to spend alot of time preparing this man for me.

lol. you should try it, it works.

Awwwww, Bob, you make me blush. Thank you so much for your sweet words.

You know, my boss (Tina) left the state to finish planning her wedding. A random guy she met at some conference three months ago came to the gallery today to see if she was in. When he heard she was off to be married, he (in all seriousness) said he was heartbroken and did an about-face.

I have to admit, I've been working there for three and a half years, and no one's ever asked after me that way, and I felt more than a little inadequate..

Yeah, I wonder why I repell guys more than OFF spray. I'm doing something wrong, but I'm not sure what.

Well, in all honesty, Tina is skinny (but with the right curves for a thin person), intelligent, well-spoken, and beautiful. So I can see why that guy fell for Tina in an afternoon....

On the other hand, I guess I'm a little more rough around the edges, kind of outspoken, more of a buddy than a girl someone'd want to take home to meet Mama... But even though I could change all that, I'm not sure I really would want to. I don't think I'm really a mean person (though I need to watch my irritation levels more closely when a deadline's closing in)...
