I'm a very private, keep to myself kind of person so I don't share allot here, but I read allot and try to learn as much as I can. When I do share details, it's usually in a smaller setting, PM, or something similar.

I've grown allot while I've been here from reading others' experiences, so keep sharing as you feel led. :) There are threads that challenge me, others that are informative. I rarely post though, even when I am challenged or learn something from a thread. I'm mostly a registered lurker. :D

I tend to hold things in around people, unless I know them really well, and know that they understand where my heart is. The same goes for sharing things online. I will share things that I'm comfortable sharing -- struggles, issues, etc. -- when I feel comfortable with the people that I routinely speak to. The other times, I'm too worried about being judged or what the other people (whether in person or online) will think. I know I shouldn't worry about that, because God's opinion of me is really all that matters. But I can't help it.

I usually share specific things from my life if I feel that someone could be benefitted from it. I have only rarely asked for advice here (the most significant one being today) which is because I don't always open up and ask for help.

I think CC Singles is a good place to share your problems. I have learned a lot here. I am growing a lot here. It is like God brought me here for a particular purpose. And I am grateful to God for that. :)

I came to CC for Christian fellowship and to share ideas and learn. Two weeks into my joining I was being challenged in my beliefs and how I relate to other Christians. I had to start thinking outside the box and asking myself How would Jesus respond to some of the posts being thrown at me?

I started out in the Bible Discussion Forum probably not the best place for a newbie to join in... but God taught me quickly not to take things personally as it can get heated in that forum.

Singles area has a friendlier lighter side that I can really appreciate and I still get cereal (Blondese for serious) on occasion and pop back into BDF again being tested by the heat...and debates....lol

I love sharing the love that God shares with me on a daily basis and I like to laugh a lot.... ask tourist....but I also like to try and encourage and pray with people and try and lift up that hurting soul, post and add pictures that might bring a laugh or a smile to someone.

Writing is also a way to put thoughts and experiences down that just might help someone else going through that same issue.... I really do love posting here and for the most part have a fun time too. Enjoy all the friends and personalities that go with each one..... I think I will stick around for a while....

I share less than one might think. I'm more of a reflective than an initiative. I mostly comment on what others have said.

Test question to illustrate: What do you really know about me?
...I did learn more about the nature of the Lynx as opposed to other felines in one of your posts :)

Thank you all for sharing. :) It means a lot to me when God uses even our goof ups to bless others. Confessing them to one another is very important. Keeps us humble. As Holly said in another thread, when we think we're too perfect or have become a Sister Bertha BetterThanYou, we need to be very careful.

PROVERBS 16[SUP]18 [/SUP]Pride goes before destruction,
a haughty spirit before a fall.

[SUP]19 [/SUP]Better to be lowly in spirit along with the oppressed
than to share plunder with the proud.

When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom. Proverbs 11:2

The eyes of the arrogant man will be humbled and the pride of men brought low; the LORD alone will be exalted in that day. Isaiah 2:11

But when his heart became arrogant and hardened with pride, he was deposed from his royal throne and stripped of his glory. Daniel 5:20

Your heart will become proud and you will forget the LORD your God. Deuteronomy 8:14

Before his downfall a man’s heart is proud, but humility comes before honor. Proverbs 18:12

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 1 Corinthians 13:4

Yeh, it helps me. Almost all the people that want to be my friend want me to ignore my kids, go to bars, smoke, swear and act worldly. And there are not many my age at church. And I just need to get my thoughts out- I have to talk to someone, I am human. There are things that come out in conversation that wouldn't if you didn't talk- thoughts, ideas, ways of looking at things, other's point of view, comfort, etc. Even when I'm writing I see things that don't match and need to be corrected (revise, revise, revise). There are many reasons I need to talk, but mostly I come here to go on the bible discussion forum and spread God's truth.
