Ugly, not everyone of us has a formal ignore list. Maybe some of us just keep it in our head.

I notice that there are many more posts about pets and food than there are posts not ignoring you, Wisebeardman.

Pets and food are much more cheerful than ignoring people.

I agree. I am advocating NOT ignoring. Like, "Wisebeardman, do you have any pets too?" Or "Wisebeardman, that was an astute observation in the OP". I'm sure no one intended it, but it almost looks like people went to his party (this thread), and went off in various corners and started talking among themselves about other matters. Isn't that ignoring him?

Erm no, not if he leaves the party. Notice when he started the thread several people, myself included, directly addressed him, notice when he rejoined the thread he was also addressed. Notice also that the food and pet chat was brought on by wisebeardmans avatar. :)

Hey, Beardy :)

I'm not(!) asking for the answers to these questions... I just want to know if you have asked yourself the following questions because it is the sort of thing that were the shoes on the other feet (mine to yours not left foot to right) I would be having to ask myself (preferably before hitting the "post new thread" button):

1) Is posting this baiting the hook to fish for compliments?
2)Is posting this prejection? Yes, my made up word for Pre-rejecting. Prejection is something that can be done to others as in, "I saw those dudes with the bikes coming up my sidewalk and I totally prejected what they were about to say." It can also be something that can be done to oneself like, "I so didn't bother turning in my application for the job. I just knew they had an internal candidate for the position, so I went ahead and prejected myself to save us both the trouble." or "She was such a sweet, caring woman, and seemed to have good religious roots to her. She digs beards and she's cool with critters. I think I saw her put a breakfast item on the head of a four legged beast the other day. She's so beautiful, too, like the first crocus of spring. She's way out of my league. I'm gonna save myself the pain and preject myself by not even talking nice to her."

Not saying you did these things. Just saying that I have to watch out that I'm not doing them & encouraging you to watch out for the same.

Agreed!

Hey this can be one of those threads like that country song, " I wanna talk about me!" So let's talk about the wise one. Tell us what makes you tick. Let us get to know YOU!

Going to put this out there. If you don't like my posting. then ignore me.
Simple.
everyone has the right to say how they feel that is what this is all about everyone gets to have thier say, where as in gatherings it is very hard as others balk against each other.and divisions take place when we all can really hear and learn from each other by always sifting everything we hear and say through the hidden person of our new hearts for I serve the:

[h=3]Romans 7:4-6[/h]New Living Translation (NLT)

[SUP]4 [/SUP]So, my dear brothers and sisters, this is the point: You died to the power of the law when you died with Christ. And now you are united with the one who was raised from the dead. As a result, we can produce a harvest of good deeds for God. [SUP]5 [/SUP]When we were controlled by our old nature, sinful desires were at work within us, and the law aroused these evil desires that produced a harvest of sinful deeds, resulting in death. [SUP]6 [/SUP]But now we have been released from the law, for we died to it and are no longer captive to its power. Now we can serve God, not in the old way of obeying the letter of the law, but in the new way of living in the Spirit.

Is anyone else excited for Season 4 of Arrested Development next month?
