Alexis I don't know you, nor have I had the honour of conversing with you. But from what I've seen you post in the forums..you could probably put most adults to shame. Kudos to you for standing up for your friend :) I hope you do decide to stay or at least think about returning at some point. God bless you for being a light..keep on sparkling.

Sigh.... this is one reason that I've been in the Singles forum and not Bible Discussion for the past three days.

The talking donkeys is an insult--something along the lines of "God hasn't opened your eyes yet", read Num 22:21-31.

Unfortunately at this time in history the enemy is satan--he uses word games. I cannot urge enough Bible study.

Matt 4:5-7 Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple, And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in [their] hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone. Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.

Jesus didn't throw rocks like David--He used the word of God.

Heb 4:12 For the word of God [is] quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and [is] a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

We're supposed to test the spirits and correct false teachers--or at least warn others about them--I think she did good!

1 John 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

2 Tim 4:2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.
