KiwiOverTime?

If I came into a singles group or even my church, and, please, no offense or unNZpatriotism here, but if I came up and led that song prior to pastor's sermon...they might just pik me up and throw me out on my ear :)

Seriously, that is a good song but as a lead-in to our pastor's sermon, it would be quité an interesting worship song. Now our church does have a special servicio 4th of July, honoring our local government and local military, so, that song fits then.,:
OT is abbreviation for Occupational Therapist

And of course your church wouldnt sing such a song as its got New Zealand in every line and if you sang it, well you'd look just plain weird.
It was a once off occasion, and we sang it not to honour our govt or military but to honour Gods faithfulness to us and give hope to those who had lost homes and family members in the quake.

There's a fantastic video called Jerusalem Arise with Paul Wilbur and after watching only the first 15 minutes, I cried for joy to the Lord. I wanted to get up and dance with them. It's just fantastic! I use a lot of those songs now. Ella:cool:

I like that one there said in the title of my thread , kind of summer campy tho, but a praise and worship song nonetheless I like.

I have many, many more songs that I could spat out, but I'm not going to spit them just yet. :) So, c'mon, get on your maranatha music shoes on and start jogging' that brain of yours. YOU ARE ALL I NEED to get this thread hopping', going hopping , hopping along , red, red, robin a-bobbin' along, what worship songs make you thirst for more like drinking a warm katina, sorry, I means to say, warm canteen of peach schnappes, I mean, ugh! , brain don't fail me now, , I mean, warm canteen of peach pop tarts having soaked a long time in hot milk, on such a cold spring day when all the leaves are brown ;)

KiwiOverTime ( I just like that nick (if you do) cuz you are overtime (And, I'm a sports guy too) on here spreading good words of God and other topics, and, heh-heh, I NICK everyone, so don't feel bruised in any way, shape or form, please, occupational therapist, cool, sounds like a running-good time :) )

One of my favorite worship songs too and this one is for all the pharasees out there, LOL . I am being facetious but serious too and, I am surely including myself too because surrendering everything I have is sooo hard to think about doing. But that is what Jesus told the pharasees, who asked what they (specificaly speaking to THEM was Jesus) had to do to get to Heaven. Those are SOME of the most provocative (maybe controversial) words in the bible, IMHO.

OK, enough of that, I was one time in a christian bookstore and I started hearing C.C. Winans sing 'I surrender all' so that is the song I like and THAT is the singer best I like singing it. What a beautiful voice she has, like a dove, I think, if a dove could really sing. :)
