(also cense, a kinda unusual word, lol)
Byte Bite

Sex:)....….as in gender, lol
 hmmmm not sure what your getting at with this one?
when asking for the homophone to this google gives me SECTS (pronounced SEKT)
whereas SEX is pronounced SEKS
I'm stumped b/c google puts them together as homophones but when I listen to them being pronounced (clearly) they do not sound the same.........
*wonders if Tab has a different word in mind.........*
(b/c "sex" as in the OTHER definition is not a homophone but rather a HOMOGRAPH- same spelling , different meaning)

Tabin has found a strange dictionary again...
BAZAAR:

View attachment 212244 View attachment 212247 View attachment 212245 View attachment 212249 View attachment 212250

Description
A bazaar is a permanently enclosed marketplace or street where goods and services are exchanged or sold. The term originates from the Persian word bāzār. The term bazaar is sometimes also used to refer to the "network of merchants, bankers and craftsmen" who work in that area. Wikipedia

and the homophone for that is:
BIZARRE
adjective

  1. very strange or unusual, especially so as to cause interest or amusement.
"her bizarre dresses and outrageous hairdos"
both are pronounced
/bəˈzär/
AH-HA! Another to put it D, (and maybe you meant this and no one caught on.......)
(editing D's post below in italic red )

You know why they are homophones? The plural of sect is pronounced the same as sex. That makes it a homophone.
