Seriously, though, isn't it great how God created so
many wonderful, uniquely beautiful ppl.....in all shapes,
sizes, personalities, colors even, traits, gifts, talents? ......
Gosh, you'd think there must be someone for everyone,
but I don't know, I've been alone so long, I just can't help
thinkin there must be something Seriously wrong with me.
I finally start to love one, she decides I'm not worth the space
I'm taking up, I don't get it, it's like I don't exist, and that hurts.
I try being friendly with others, figuring,
'Ok, Lord, maybe I had it wrong and you don't
want me with the one I hoped' I don't know...
but these days, everybody seems so on edge,
and ready to accuse friendliness for perversion,
a decent guy can't catch a break out there.
But there's so many great gals on this site,
I can't believe ANY of them are single
that don't want to be.
As far as distance goes, I believe that love can
overcome that, ... it might be a hindrance, but
miles are no barrier. Like the song says,
'Ain't no mountain high enough.....'
But, hey, love never gives up,
we've got a great God and Savior,
He knows what He's doing, and He won't
let us down...even a couple jokers like us.
Btw, are you going to the Harvest Crusade
in Texas Stadium tomorrow night?
They could probably use a guy like you
with your size 13's to boot ppl INTO the kingdom!
