Here we go again. False religion, seriously? Did you know that Buddhism actually compliments Catholicism and vice-versa?! Seriously, you can do your research and there are many parallels to both religions.

I don't understand what is going on here, but we shouldn't try to make blanket statements like "Buddhism being a false religion." There is no such thing as a false religion. All religions exist for a reason. That's all I'm going to say.
If two religions disagree on something, one (minimum) must be wrong. And all religions disagree with each other about something.

If one (minimum) is wrong, how can you say neither is a false religion?

There is One way, One truth, and One life, He is Jesus, the only way to Heaven.
No ones "religion" died for their sins. Learn this and you will at least begin to shed confusion.

I’m praying for you. Strange or as unorthodox as it may seem …. I have a cousin who is being drawn back to the God of the Christian Bible through a statement that a Buddhist teacher made that he read. It’s to the tune of “If you can follow the religion of your tribal family do so” so this cousin of mine picked up on that….. following a Buddhist teacher is now beginning to be drawn back and wooed to Christianity. Amazing how Our God can use foolishness to make himself known. If God can work through a false religion such as Buddhism He can draw you back as well away from wherever you are straying to. 🙏
Look if it works for you, that's all that really matters! If you go into Church and it empowers you, then please by all means follow that religion. That religion speaks to you, and it's what gives your life meaning and purpose. I know my own meaning and purpose, I don't need to go into a Church to find purpose. I know what my purpose is now, and it's bigger than what people realize. I primarily operate from the heart, because that is my strongest asset. Ok, so things are a little off kilter, well, this is the reason why we're here, to learn all there is to know about our own individual purpose. My goal, and job, is unity regardless of who you are. In order for things to change around here, everyone's got to be on the same page and everyone isn't. Let's come together and draw up a plan of some sort. Right now Donald Trump, bless his soul, is trying so hard to get people to come together and change the very fabric of society, but so many people hate him all because he's a self-made man. Ok, so he's a smartass, well newsflash he's not the only smartass in our political sphere. In fact there's a shit ton of smartasses up there. Plus, I love how people will focus on what people say instead of what they do.

Just be loving regardless of where anyone is at in their spiritual journey. That's the main message through all religions and belief systems: LOVE! That's the real message!

You say that, but yet you read the Holy BIble. Kind of like how the Catholic Church for example go by Tradition and The Word (and the Magisterium if you wanted to get technical). Are you saying too that either the Tradition or the Word is false and the other one is true?

There's too many contradictions going on here.

And Buddhism tells you how your body is connected to your spirit and vice-versa. The Bible is about how to treat your spirit, and Buddhism talks about your spirit's relationship with your body.

I just can't wait when people, including myself, will drop the ego talk and start getting together and try to find real tangible solutions to the spirit problem, and not say your religion is better than other religions. And then people wonder why we have problems? Because we've become experts, including me, at dividing people.

He made no such assertion. He went from a very strict religious upbringing to rebellion and became a very hostile agnostic whom you couldn’t even have a conversation towards regarding religion. My family all but gave up on this kid including his mom. Then he got into Buddism and found this random sentence a DaliLama may have been recorded saying and now he is open to Protestant Christian biblical faith. He went from hostility towards anything Christ to seeking my input on a Bible and went to a store to pick out an Amplified version all on his own accord. All I’m saying is the God of the universe will use whatever he can at His disposal to reveal truth that points us back to Him.

I’m reminded of something in acts.

“Therefore, in the present case I advise you: Leave these men alone! Let them go! For if their purpose or activity is of human origin, it will fail. But if it is from God, you will not be able to stop these men; you will only find yourselves fighting against God.””
‭‭Acts‬ ‭5‬:‭38‬-‭39‬ ‭NIV‬‬

If you take into account Jesus own words then yes there are many false -human origin-religion s
“Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
‭‭John‬ ‭14‬:‭6‬ ‭NIV‬‬

So we have to ask ourselves Is Jesus a liar? Is Jesus a lunatic? Or is Jesus who He said He was? Those are our 3 options.

Do you know how many people would say he was a liar and a lunatic? A HUGE AMOUNT! Jesus was just here to show us what we are capable of. He doesn't save people, he's an ascended master, and he helps us out in our walk. And Jesus never hung out with anyone in power, he hung out with the people who've been labeled all sorts of things. That's because Jesus knew that these people were capable of so much love it wasn't even funny. I'm not saying I'm good, nor am I trying to elevate myself. I'm so imperfect it shows. So go ahead and damn homosexuals, pot smokers, homeless people, etc... to hell. I on the other hand choose love.

I understand why we need order, otherwise we'd be like the people back during the Old Testament when if someone didn't like you or you were in their way, they just slaughtered you. However at the same time, if you don't allow people to make mistakes, you're just caging them in. It's not ok...sorry but it's really not ok.

Yes cause they messed with that religion too. Of course they want you to think that. They're dividing us!
Islam took Old Testament texts and distorted them... partly because Mohammad was illiterate and lacked
understanding of the Bible. However, Islam started out as a bloody religion, and was spread by the sword.

How do we define Love? What is the basis? How do we determine what is loving and what isn’t? There has to be a immovable bar to measure what perfected love is. On a cultural aspect we can define love however we want. It becomes subjective. At that point one could argue culturally the nazis did a loving thing by their own thinking. Biblical love is absolute immovable truth.

Do you ever wonder why the term "Nazi" exists? Did you ever wonder why Hitler even did what he did? Was it terrible, absolutely, but there's an underlying truth most people choose to ignore. It has something to do with Hitler's soul. I'm stopping there.

I'm actually being as serious as a heart attack when I say what I said. But that's ok, make the same mistakes I made....see what you think....I'm not responsible for anyone's soul but my own.

I don't get my teachings from people...
That's just silly. You may be picking and choosing what you believe from
various sources, but they are not unique to/nor do they originate with you.

So Christianity “cages you in”

And how do we ensure our souls don’t make the same move as that of evil men as hitler? We have to be guided by a higher power than ourselves. The Christian life is own of surrender to that higher Power. We submit ourselves and take the lowest seat at the table. And let our God raise us up in His timing. This practice keeps us humble and submissive to the higher power. The bar to become a Christian is very accessible really. It’s simply saying God , I’m not enough on my own. I need you Jesus because I can’t live as you have called me to on my own. Jesus empower me to be a better lover. To love as you have called me to love.
“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.”
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭13‬:‭4‬-‭7‬, ‭13‬ ‭NIV‬‬

I fail at this love multiple times a day. But I can run to a God who is merciful and He forgives my failures and I can get back up and continue to live this life of love.

Thank God for that....because as a person I'm just as fallible! It'd be crazy for me to tell people how to live! The only person who should truly be preaching is someone who does not know what sin is (and I'm not just referring to Jesus and Mary. I'm talking about an actual person on Earth right now). If you can find such a person, I will sit down and believe every word that comes out of that person's mouth....I won't even question it!
