I don't have any brains so I can be used as a decoy, thereby saving other humans.

I can adapt fairly quickly and can be resourceful when I need to, I always think ahead and strategize. I am not afraid of ooooey gooey grossness that would result from killing zombies. Vampires, on the other hand, I may fall prey to their seducing lol "...but but he's so charming, and mysterious. Tuff, but kind of broken inside, and a true romantic. What's one date? I am sure I'll be fine!"
Let me tell you somethin' about vamps. They're not that mysterious or romantic. I prefer the Joss Whedon mythology where vampires go poof (to dust) once you stake them, stick them out in the sun, or cut off their heads. Also, the body may walk, talk, have the person's memories, etc a demon has taken up residence there. The soul is long gone. The nonsense of Stephanie Meyers' vampires (the sparkely blah blah blah) is popular now, but it's pretty far off from the original mythology. There is Dracula, but he can't be killed anyway. The vampires from the Underworld movies are pretty cool, but they aren't as witty as Whedon's characters.

And as all of you now know, I'm a HUGE nerd and proud of my skillz!

Oh really? I always thought that seduction and mystery was a part of the vampire charisma. Kinda disappointing. "Hey, yo! I wanna suck your blood k?"

I'm good at being organized and planning but in an apocalypse I feel there's more spontaneous things that have to go on.

I can be both a follower and a leader, so I would be able to be pretty flexible in my role in a group.

I'm good at listening to people and calming them down, being a shoulder to cry on, etc.

I feel like I'd be more of a voice of reason than a fighter. I mean sure, I can fight if I need to, obviously. But it wouldn't be my strength, I don't think!

My friends laugh when I say this, because I guess I'm too nice for them to think of it, but no one, I repeat no one, messes with my twin. I say I'm not a fighter but if a zombie (or ten, doesn't matter) were after her, they would GET IT.

*I can cook almost anything from scratch
*Once upon a time I was an expert marksman in the USAF
*I am a sci-fi dork, and have read up on a lot of lore/mythology, so therefore I can be the Sam to your Dean...
*I am pretty handy at fixing stuff...
*With my theatre degree, I learned basic carpentry and welding skills.
*I can sew... on a machine and by hand.. so good with power or without!
*I can knit AND crochet (And latch-hook, but who needs an 80's decorative rug during an apocalypse?)

So, choose me for your apocalypse team! :D

Of course there's some seduction, ya know? But if you know what to look for, you can totally avoid them.

But that's not what I'm asking! I'm asking how would you help people out? For instance...

I'm a fairly good shot. I have been trained by a navy sniper to fire guns, and I would be handy to have around to shoot zombies in the head.

I'm a good listener and can keep people calm and rational. Also helpful in an apocalypse.

According to my best friend, I have a serious lack of fear. Again, helpful.

I know how to blow bubbles with gum.

I already have lots of dark colored clothing.

I watch the Walking Dead and Buffy the Vampire Slayer, so I know LOTS about survival.

I can read people very well and my instincts about them are about 95% accurate.
Ummmm you did see that I am scared of spider, right? What help would you possibly think I could be,lol?

Not to worry -- my super-duper special-spark high-voltage computer-controlled extended-range zombie-zapper is fully-effective up to 250 feet!

Compare that to the average basic zombie-zapper, which is only fully-effective to about 25 feet. :p

( It's all about knowing how to attach the car antenna - how much electrical tape to use - and what to do with the pumpkin seeds... ) ;)
Wait I thought it was all about the duct tape!!!

Me?
I fix things.
I'm the Professor in Gilligan's Island. Gimme two coconuts, a length of vine, and the propeller off of the SS Minnow and I'll whip up a radio station to reach other survivors.

I make Macgyver look like an amateur and can out A-Team the A-Team.
Just to point out... the professor was STUCK on the island with them!! He wasn't any better at getting them off the island.lol

Well, I will be hiding behind you because I don't like spiders or any of that crazy zombie, vampire stuff... I have terrible dreams with that mess.

I don't know how many in this thread watches The Walking Dead, but I took a quiz once to see which character I'd be, and I was Dale. Which is good because he was one of my favorite characters. :D

I would actually hate a zombie apocalypse. I have good people skills but very few survival skills, and being eaten alive is one of my biggest fears (though a rather irrational one), so there's that.

You as Dale makes sense to me. A lot of sense, actually. I took an online test and apparently I'm like Rick. At least I didn't turn out to be Lori or Andrea!

I used to be afraid of spiders too until the day I came upon a tarantula in the garage and I had to sweep it out onto the street. Yes it was alive. Now spiders don't scare me.

Not me. I love watching it on tv but I can't do without my electricity and running water. :p

Oh man, I couldn't stand Dale. I see you more as Maggie, although she's not being a very good christian girl lol.
