That would be better than the most common music played there:

Is it just me or does it seem like he was provoking her a little bit? :(
Why is he even filming it? Ugh.

So I just bought my mom a balloon to go with her bday present. I walked past a little girl (about 3) and she said, "A balloon!" And I said, "Yep, it's for my mommy." She gasped and replied, "Oh! She's gonna like it!"

How cute is that?!

When I was little, my much older stepbrother would play Batman with me. On his last birthday before he passed I brought him a bunch of huge Batman balloons. He loved it. :)

Wal-Mart is great for free entertainment. Well, not free... you pay for it at the cash register I suppose.

There used to be a man who shopped at our local WM who would sing opera the whole time he was in there. I mean, he would belt it out at the top of his lungs. You could hear him all over the store. The shoppers would just look at one another and smile. It was strange and surreal and very cool.
one of my favorite memories from (the direction of) your neck of the woods, new orleans, was when i rode back from the airport in a taxi driven by a older woman who belted old style gospel music the whole time she drove. there was no conversation, it was just like riding in a musical tunnel. i loved it, and took some video of it to share with my compadres.

i asked her if she took requests, and she laughed and said "sure". she sang "i surrender all" with such emotional heartbreak that i think got a little misty eyed. it's a weird and wonderful memory.

i miss that crazy place.
