I won't drink...but I"d like to enjoy time with my Father. He died when I was 21. Had Alzheimer's for several years prior...I'd just like to get to know him... -student.
Thank you for sharing this, dear sister. May you be comforted knowing one day you will be reunited with him in glory for all eternity. God bless you always. :)

I miss my father so much, he was my hunting and fishing partner and my life teacher. He was a beer drinker until he began having children, his father was a drunkerd and my mother (I use the term loosely) forbad him from coming around the house. :)

One day I'd like to have a beer with my future husband when our kids are all grown up or have their own family. When we've aged but still very in love to each other. I'd like to share intimate time with him and talk about whatever and laugh and cry at the same time for remembering all the good and bad times we've shared together.

I would be honored, Brother.
That means alot.

Once I was working at a restaurant which had a bar, so after work one day I wanted to experience different drinks at the bar. I forget the various drinks, but I liked the Martini, especially when I was finish I got to eat the olive. I told the Barkeep that I was really buzzed (the word I used I can't spell), so he went to tell the restaurant manager and the off duty cop working for the restaurant said to me, after he asked me to do a sibriaty (spl?) test, said, I am not going to arrest you; the restaurant manager told me to go sit in her office until the effects subside.

Paul wrote that all things are lawful, but all things are not expedient. It is my conviction that having a little Beer, Wine, or something else is no sin, unless it causes your Christian brother to stumble. Some drinks are more addictive than other, or too strong, like Wiskey, Vodka, and others.

I have one Beer in the evening and that's all; I have a low tolerance for wine so about a jiger (spl?) full and I'm done.

I don't follow Man's commandments (Baptist Preacher) about drinking is a sin. People will condemn you for their teachings of Man.

Thank you for sharing, Brother. :)

I looked up your profile, and if I ever get down to the Bayou, I will let you know. I would most definitely be honored to shake your hand, pray with you and have one cold beer.

Til then, my prayers are lifted for you and your family. God bless you.

Really awesome, Utah!

Don't have mindset that Louisiana is all Bayou, my city is high and dry, but I have fished alot of Bayous, they are so beautiful, I love the Spanish Moss draped Cypress trees. In the 1800's mattress's used to be made of Spanish Moss. :)

Denzel Washington. He's a great actor, down to Earth and devout Christian. No doubt we'd talk about life, sports, Hollywood, and of course, our faith in Jesus. How about you?
Have a beer with your carnal worldly, redneck buddies, instead. In case u haven't noticed this is not a site for Hollywood stars, regardless if u think their Christians or not.

I am rethinking all my post on drinking, not all men have knowledge of our liberty in Christ. So, I am thinking what Christians without that knowledge are thinking about me and if I have caused harm are caused any to stumble then I am a debtor to them and to Christ.
