For me, it would be Bora-Bora. It's a tranquil beach with beautiful resorts along the coastline. It is one of my dream holiday destinations.

There are couple places that come to mind.. but not to the point of wanting to choose one out of them. I think I will be happy with taking a short road trip after church on Sunday, picking up coffee from 7-Eleven, and just drive with windows open. However, there are a few places I wanna revisit in time if I could, and do things differently.

Wow. Imagine how the battles must have been fought on those grounds.

How it must have felt with archers (or was it crossbowmen) targeting you from the high walls of the castle...

How gory it must have been with all the bodies lying around..

How disgusting the canals would have smelt, with the rotten carcasses of the dead, the flies buzzing around and the birds feeding on them ...

Okay, you get the picture. :p

No one said this place had to be real. I was going to say some things, but then I decided to behave....

I must be strange, I'm just not the traveling type. The has to be a good reason for me to go somewhere or I'm not interested. I'm drawing a blank.

You know what - I'm not going to behave.

An island filled exclusively (and I mean exclusively) with single christian women in my age bracket who also happened to have chosen to visit that island that day (because they live in my area). I figure my chances would have to be pretty good there.

And before anyone criticizes me for fishing in a stocked pond, I'll just point out that's what a dating site is supposed to look like. It's just the island thing sounds like more fun.

ServantStrike: But what would be THEIR reason for going to said island? They wouldn't just happen to be there...

Roh_Chris: Remind me to never visit you. That was gory. :p

This is going to be a bizarre answer. Under ordinary circumstances, I would say Neubrandenburg, Germany for many personal reasons.

If I knew it was my last day on earth though, I would like to die with a good view of the Rockies in front of me. I've never felt more at home on this planet than when I was among those great mountains.
