From what you've described in the OP, I can't see anything about him treating you badly, or anything to merit the things some of the posters here have said about him. It could be that you are reading "signals" that he may not really be sending, or he is naive about the fact that he is sending certain signals. Maybe he just likes you as a friend. Maybe he really likes you, but is shy. But if you are not in a relationship, him not calling or talking to you doesn't = him treating you badly.
