I'm an IS/NFP

Except right now. Right now it's far too early to have any kind of personality.

A common misconception about introverts is that they don't need people. That is simply not true, introverts just tend to get overwhelmed when there are a lot of people even if they are at a small church or something. Everytime after the church service ends, I am glad to have some fresh air. I thrive in solitude, I do need people just maybe not as other people need them. Being in the presence of people does not energize me, it exhausts me. There are so many misconceptions about introverts, that have been fed by the media, other people, etc. Thank goodness there are books out that explain what it is and how they are. God bless.

If there is one thing that I've learned it is that there are shallow introverts. Talkative introverts. Social anxiety riddled extroverts. Deep poetically reserved Extroverts.

Its simply where people get their energy. For some extroverts, we only need one person to feel like we can go accomplish something.

But this is a far stretch from being able to lock myself in my tower for 5 days with a good book and feel okay about it.

I like to express my ideas emotions and creativity with others and I can't just hide it all inside and feel accomplished.

And for me, that is how I know I'm an extrovert. When I get into a discussion I pick up steam and enthusiasm. I feed off of the inspirations that other people provide and I give it back hoping that they can do the same for me, until we have truly achieved something great.

I like taking the facts, drawing a relationship between them and then showing how it all fits into the big picture. Because at the end of the day whether we are introverted or extroverted, we are all connected and there is a sort of beautiful complexity to it. Like the entangling bonds of DNA, only its personality and its in all of us. :)

I keep to myself but I'm outgoing.

I'm sociable but not fond of being the center of attention.

I prefer the company of a few to loneliness of a crowd.

I don't mind being popular, as long as I can still have my space.

I am possibly the most Introverted Extrovert I know.

I could never be one of ^them^ because I need people.

I need to explore strange new worlds, seek out new life and new possibilities, to boldly go where I have never gone before.
I may be the most extroverted introvert I know.

I like socializing, but need to rest afterward.

I talk as much as I listen, and feel uncomfortable with awkward silences.

My home is my "safety zone" where I go to truly relax and feel comfortable.

Most of my art or productivity is done when I am alone.

I'm usually a team leader and work well with others, but prefer to work alone.

Nah. Arwen and Jules identify as INFJ, and we like 'em just fine.
*please see my past posts revealing that, I, too, am an INFJ. ^^ In fact, judging by Liamson's Meyer's Briggs Thread, there's a whole slew of us here on CC.

I enjoy taking part in activities with other people.
But when it comes to standing around and talking to people, I don't always go out of my way to talk. If someone talks to me I'll definitely continue a conversation. If no one wants to talk I don't particularly mind. Some times it's good to have a break and be yourself.

I believe the term that most fittingly applies to how you describe yourself is Ixtrovert.

I'm INTJ but I have elements of E, S, F and P (out of those - mostly E and F).
