Don't worry about it. I'm different to most guys and feel like you do too... but it's overthinking. Just stop, and don't worry about it. So you're into renaissance fairs and making your own costumes for them? That's cool, and really nice cos you don't see many women who are into that these days, really nice I love those things too :)

Just cos you don't fit into the stereotype doesn't mean you'll always be alone. Some guys are also different and we don't like ordinary girls :)
You seem to me like someone I could get along with.

Being an individual is important and having things that set you apart from the next person is in many ways important even if that is being able to draw.

I feel like I may be a bit more out there then some other people are. I'm not here to brag about that at all. I love going to renaissance fairs and making my own costumes for it. It's just who I am and it brings me joy in life. I am worried that one aspect may drive some guys off, though. I like some other things that women my age might not I feel like I am more worried about this than perhaps is good to be.
**** only if you were the tiger costume...

The most I do for Halloween now is put on my ren faire stuff (Just a shirt with black pants and boots) I don't go all out I stopped that years ago.
Oh my goodness I can't believe I missed the part where you make your own costumes. Do you take commissions? I have been wanting a highwayman's cloak for many years - not to wear to a ren faire, just to wear. What kind of material would you use, how much would it cost and how long would it take. I'm 5 feet, 7 inches and I'd want it to come to about the knee.

You sound like fun to be with. Be who you are, you wouldn't want someone who didn't appreciate the real you.
